The Story

Your probably wondering what the story is so here goes:

This is a story about looking past first impressions and opening ourselves up to new people and new experiences.

So in the beginning, we have an elephant who is walking past and stops to impersonate a tree. Once he has finally got his pose perfected, a kiwi like bird walks on screen. He also stops to admire the tree because he desperately wants the fruit that's in it. Out of the corner of his eye he notices the massive elephant towering above him and freaks out. He scoots around the elephant and heads towards the pond. The elephant follows him mimicking the birds walk.

The bird begins to drink from the pond and the elephant does the same mimicking his stance. The bird again notices the elephant and backs away scared and weirder out.

The bird begins to clean himself and the elephant plops down beside him. As the elephant begins to clean under his arm, he finds a clump of dirt. The bird is watching him as he throws the clump away. The bird is really disgusted and wanders away once more. This time he goes back towards the original tree and stares dreamily at the fruit he cannot reach. The elephant follows him and sees the sadness in the birds face.

He decides to lift the bird. The bird gets closer and closer to the fruit and becomes ecstatic. But the elephant continues to lift him past the fruit. Once the bird has had a chance to calm down, he looks out into this sunset. He is seeing this vast landscape for the first time that he never knew existed. We end the scene with the bird smirking toward this valley filled with lots of trees and mounds of fruit. He knows that being friends with the elephant could be beneficial if he gave him a chance and a new friendship is born!

That's it in a nutshell. It took me a few weeks to nail that down. The storyboards will be a lot easier to get the image of all of this.
